ABOUT
We have a beautiful flower sketch class to get you started, and later you can create your own with whatever flowers you have.
This one is in aquarelle pencil. A great one to begin with.
Once you’ve completed this class -
try the watercolour version.
Both slightly different to keep you learning lots as you go.
This is a foundation lesson showing how we use Aquarelle Pencils, one colour at a time.
You only need your aquarelle pencils for this one.
In this foundation class and I’ll show you how we look at everything as simple shapes, and how I layer the colours to get light and dark.
Then you can set up one of your own and follow the same steps.
By taking the time to observe and learn my techniques, you’ll soon see how it applies to more complex subjects with ease.

WHAT YOU GET
* You’ll receive several pages as a PDF similar to above.
* Each page has easy to follow instruction/guidance notes with full colour sketches to follow.
* We’ll start with the first planning sketch right through to the completed work in full colour.
* You can take as long as you like. Stop and start anytime.
* Aim for 30mins or so later, to do the sketch, and same for the colour.
* This is exactly the way I tutor my classes when we’re all together.

*Any size sketchbook with flat white paper - not textured. 125gm is fine.
*Black waterproof pen. (No lead pencil needed)
*Set of 12 Staedtler Noris Club Aquarelle pencils.
(If you have a different brand be sure it has Yellow Ochre, one of our important colours)
