“Come & find your Pomelo” - this Croation expression and way of life means to slow down and embrace the present moment. #findyourpomolo

Thursday April 7th – Friday April 15th. 2026

9 Days / 8 Nights
4 Nights in Split and 4 Nights in Dubrovnik

With water so clear that boats seem to float in midair,
and the stunning Adriatic coastline with its numerous bays and islands,
we decided that Croatia is calling us to sit, absorb and sketch.

We dream of sketching the turquoise lakes, waterfalls and lush forests of Kra National Park,
the architecture of the Diocletian’s Palace
and the palm tree lined Riva Promenade in Split.

Dubrovnik known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic” with its UNESCO listed walled town,
built in the 13th century will offer up sketching opportunities galore
as we explore the well-worn streets of the Old Town.
Perhaps we might finish our days watching the sunset as we sip Dalmatian wine and feast on seafood
or Croatian tapas-style food as we reminisce about the amazing day we’ve just had!

Comfortable walking shoes and NO mobility issues are a must on this tour.
We spend most days wandering uneven cobble stone streets, walking up & down steps and stairs, or getting on and off boats or ferries to investigate nearby islands.

Numbers will be limited on this tour and bookings are now open.

WHO IS IT FOR:
Anybody who loves the idea of learning travel sketching and drawing.
Using our step by step guidance, and simple color approach, you’ll find you can sketch what we see around us from the very first day.
If you’re already a sketcher, you’ll learn how to keep it loose and avoid too much detail.

If sketching, exploring and living like a local in our European neighbourhoods appeals,
then this tour is for you.
Having coffee at the same little spot every morning, picking up a sweet treat on the same street
- you’ll love it. So meditative.
No experience required. All levels welcome. Just a desire to be a sketcher.

Let’s make sure we are reasonably fit as this part of Europe has lots of cobbled surfaces, up and down paving, steps and steep bridges.
Make sure you read the Terms and Conditions in our booking form.
