DUBLIN - 3 NIGHTS
Monday June 29th, Thursday July 2nd
Arrive in Dublin on Monday June 29th and check in to our hotel. Travelodge Plus or similar.
We leave for Galway on the West Coast on morning of Thursday July 2nd.
During the 4 hour plus journey by private transport, we stop at Clonmacnoise Ancient religious site to sketch. Lunch will be beside the Shannon River.

Thursday July 2nd - Thursday July 9th
We arrive at our hotel - Foyles Hotel - on the afternoon of Thursday July 2nd.
We leave for Dublin airport or hotels on morning of Thursday July 9th.
It’s a 4 hour plus journey - we do stop for lunch at colourful Althone - so do book your departure flights in the afternoon.

WHO IS IT FOR:
•Absolutely anybody who loves travel, sketching, history and exploring new places.
•No experience needed so if you haven’t sketched before, I’ll get you started, as I work at all levels of sketching.
•If you are more experienced , you may want to to keep everything simple and loose.
•If you’re a non sketcher we’d love you to come with us every day while we sketch as there is so much to see and explore
•This tour is for everyone, whether on your own, with friends, couples.
•Let’s make sure we are reasonably fit as there are lots of uneven surfaces and steps in these places.
•Raincoats and warmer layers of clothing are sometimes needed if we get rain.
•Make sure you read the Terms and Conditions and confirm in our booking form.

ITINERARY:
We will have 2 full days of sketching in Dublin and we’ll pick out the places we think are will capture the essence of this city.
In Clifden there is so much to choose within walking distance of our hotel.
Depending on rain or no rain we’ll cover all sorts of gorgeous places.
Sketching Dublin
Dublin offers endless inspiration for artists with its vibrant mix of historic charm and urban energy.
The grand architecture of Trinity College, the intricate facades of Georgian townhouses, and the iconic Ha’penny Bridge over the River Liffey provide captivating subjects for sketching.
The bustling streets of Temple Bar are alive with musicians, performers, and colorful storefronts perfect for capturing dynamic urban scenes.
For quieter moments, serene spots like St. Stephen’s Green or the peaceful courtyards of Dublin Castle offer tranquil settings to sketch. With its ever-changing light and lively atmosphere, Dublin is a sketcher’s paradise.

Sketching Clifden Connemara, Galway
Clifden is one of the mostpicturesque towns in Ireland with a stunning location at the foot of the Twelve Pins Mountains, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the heart of the beautiful Connemara region.
It is the largest town in Connemara, and one of the most precious jewels in Ireland's scenic crown.
It’s a vibrant thriving cosmopolitan town, and is undoubtedly the key to exploring the stunningly wonderful terrain of Connemara. Absolutely perfect for sketching I’d say.

and ready at any moment.
We are Travel Sketchers after all. No need for the kitchen sink!
It truly contains everything you need.
* Bring a folding stool if you like, raincoat, hat, sunglasses, sun lotion (who knows,) money for incidentals, such as drinks and meals not included.
