Skies, Clouds, Rain, Wind. Weather certainly has a huge effect on us and as Sketchers we can observe the sometimes more muted colours and try to get that look.

For your second week that’s just what you did. Colours such as Ultramarine, Burnt Umber, Purple Lake to name a few are lovely for moody skies as the seasons turn to Spring. I’m sure a little bit of Van Vogh crept in somewhere too. Such bold and vigorous skies.

In Boston the season are changing too. Sky colours are similar but trees are turning orange as they do here in Autumn (Fall).

Intro Sketchers made big strides this week with fruit, flower, tree and rabbit sketching. Some even added a brave dash of water brush over aquarelle pencil. Really exciting results.
