DUBLIN - 2 NIGHTS
Monday June 29th, Wednesday July 1st - 2nights
(Meet at 6.30pm on Monday 29th in the foyer at Belvedere Hotel
We leave on Wednesday morning to get the train to Galway)

GALWAY - 2 NIGHTS
Wednesday July 1st to Friday July 3rd - 2 nights
(We’ll leave our hotel after breakfast to travel by coach to Clifden)

CLIFDEN, CONNEMARA, WEST COAST OF IRELAND - 6 nights
Friday July 3rd to Thursday July 9th
(We leave after breakfast this morning to return by coach and train to Dublin)

(Please be sure to plan your onward bookings late afternoon of July 9th when we return to Dublin. You may be wise to book one night extra)
ITINERARY:
Sketching Dublin
Our day will be spent admiring the city and sketching beside the River Liffey.
We’ll be doing some walking through the colourful streets, enjoy coffee and later some lunch.
You may like to explore on your own in the afternoon.

Sketching Galway
Our sketching in Galway will be the architecture along the streets, and possibly along the River Claddagh and the amazing light over Galway Bay.
Afternoons are your time to explore.

Sketching Clifden Connemara, Galway
Each day after breakfast we’ll take off to sketch some of the quaintness of Clifden village.
We enjoy sketching in the mornings and having free time in the afternoons.
Lunch can be a great sandwich from the bakery or a pub lunch in the amazing Irish pubs.
We meet at 6.30pm in the Hotel foyer and go to dinner.
If you prefer to do something on your own then please do.
On one of the days - weather decided - we’ll take a local bus for a day at Kylemore Abbey.

•Non sketchers love coming to explore history and the stories of Ireland.

•A reasonable of fitness. Lots of uneven surfaces and steps in these places.
•Raincoats, warmer layers, sometimes needed if we get rain!!

I’ve designed this custom sketch kit to be minimal and fit into your shoulder bag,
and ready at any moment.
We are Travel Sketchers after all. No need for the kitchen sink!
It truly contains everything you need.
* Bring a folding stool if you like, raincoat, hat, sunglasses, sun lotion (who knows,) money for incidentals, such as drinks and meals not included.
* Come with a big happy smile and willingness to learn.
