The final of the 10 artists we’ve been ‘stealing with permission’ from was Margaret Olley. What a gorgeous finish. Everyone knows her lovely personal still life paintings. Her Paddington home in Sydney was filled with bits and pieces she’d collected and became ’her lifelong installation’. Her home became her world, and she recorded it all on paper or canvas. Just as we do in our sketchbooks.

It was an exciting last week for all our classes, and for us to see how far Intro Sketchers have come is very exciting. Who’d of thought!! Just shows what’s possible.

Although we now have a break till July 24 when Term 3 begins, do keep up your daily sketch routine, and perhaps meet up with class mates for a sketch morning. Pop any work on our Facebook group so we can all share.
