Sketching Dublin
Dublin offers endless inspiration for artists with its vibrant mix of historic charm and urban energy.
The grand architecture of Trinity College, the intricate facades of Georgian townhouses, and the iconic Ha’penny Bridge over the River Liffey provide captivating subjects for sketching.
The bustling streets of Temple Bar are alive with musicians, performers, and colorful storefronts perfect for capturing dynamic urban scenes.
For quieter moments, serene spots like St. Stephen’s Green or the peaceful courtyards of Dublin Castle offer tranquil settings to sketch. With its ever-changing light and lively atmosphere, Dublin is a sketcher’s paradise.

Sketching starting in Clifden West Coast Ireland

(Irish: Q An Clochan, meaning "stepping stones") is a town on the coast of County Galway.
Being Connemara's largest town, it is often referred to as "the Capital of Connemara".
Clifden is one of the mostpicturesque towns in Ireland with a stunning location at the foot of the Twelve Pins Mountains, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in the heart of the beautiful Connemara region.
It is the largest town in Connemara, and one of the most precious jewels in Ireland's scenic crown.
It’s a vibrant thriving cosmopolitan town, and is undoubtedly the key to exploring the stunningly wonderful terrain of Connemara. Absolutely perfect for sketching I’d say.

Anybody who loves travel and sketching. No experience needed as I work at all levels.
If you’re a non sketcher we’d love you to come with us every day and explore while we sketch.
This tour is for everyone, whether on your own, with friends, couples.

Let’s make sure we are reasonably fit as there are lots of uneven surfaces and steps in these places.

Kylemore Abbey - iconic historic estate with gardens
Connemara National Park - walks and wanderings and breathtaking scenery
The Sky Road - Scenic drive with incredible coastal views
Inishbofin Island - a short ferry trip and a unique cultural experience
Roundstone Village and Beaches - something very unique to this region

 WHAT YOU'LL NEED
*Sketch Kit - Available to order online if you’re in Australia, or get similar in UK, USA and France.
I’ve designed this custom sketch kit to be minimal and fit into your shoulder bag,
ready at any moment.
It contains everything you need. Don't be tempted to bring more.
* Bring a folding stool if you like, a hat, sunglasses, sun lotion(who knows) money for incidentals, such as drinks and meals not included.
* Come with a big happy smile and willingness to learn.
