Oh my goodness, perhaps we’d better get used to these lockdowns. Or restrictions.
One gets the feeling that this will be something that won’t be going away.
So one supposes we must try to adjust to not always meeting together to sketch with our buddies.
Holy Moly!! So what can we do?
Lots actually.

We need to remind ourselves that as sketchers, we are very very lucky that we have a skill/passion/addiction which we can do anytime, anywhere, without anyone else but ourselves.
That’s not the case for many hobbies or interests.

Of course it makes our lives difficult. Not being able to see our families. Not being able to get together for celebrations. Having to be in the same place/home/garden day after day.

But we are very resilient beings. We sketchers have many ways to have our ‘me time’ and we’re sure going to have plenty of that. Let’s think about some of the options you have.

LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT SOME INSPIRATION FROM OTHER ARTISTS FOR SKETCHING AROUND HOME.
+Sketch in your own style, in any medium and simply interpret in your own way.
+
Look around your place and look at the spaces and objects as a possible sketch.
+Take a look at how the artists below have done just that.
+Now it’s your turn. Do post your sketches on our own Facebook page.
