Sketching Melbourne Workshop. with Erin Hill

I've been keen to do another Melbourne Sketch Workshop for sometime, as those I've done previously have been very warmly received, and Alissa has given me a wonderful chance to do so. 
This Workshop will essentially be part of my ‘Getting Loose with Watercolour’ series. Whether you are an experienced travel sketcher, Urban sketcher or new to it all, you will discover much to enhance what you’re already doing.
Join me if you're keen to simplify your sketches, see the easy shapes we start with and how I apply watercolour loosely. It’s an impression after all. We will do some location sketching in inner Melbourne and sketch as though we are travelling. I will be doing demo sketches for you as we go and giving you guidance. We’ll make quick notes of interest, and we’ll apply watercolour either at the time or when we go to lunch at about 1.30pm.

Format:
Meet upstairs at the cafe shown, and we’ll begin with a coffee and warm up sketch using black pen and watercolour. This will be a good chance to discuss watercolour techniques before heading out on location.
You will have a wonderful day, pick up many tips, and create some memorable sketches forever in your journals.

What to bring:
Sketchbook of your choice and whatever pens and paint you prefer.
