’Sketching Fast & Loose in Greenwich’ is a 3 Day Workshop but you’re welcome to come for one or all.

Day 1. Fast line sketches. Colour in Aquarelle Pencil

Day 2. 30 minute sketches. 30 minute colour.

Day 3. Fast People. Fast colour.

Watercolour and Aquarelle Pencil

Milton and I just loved Greenwich village as a sketching location. The coffee is great and the Italian food so fresh and authentic.

We’ll meet here each morning and sketch around the area

I’m keen for you to learn the magic of applying aquarelle pencil and how amazingly convenient it is. Watercolor is my other medium, very quick and layered one colour over another Then we’ll put the two mediums together and see how brilliantly they ‘pop’ a sketch. You’ll Learn some of my other tips and techniques as we go

SKETCH KIT:
You’ll only need the colours I use - or similar. https://erinhillsketching.com/the-sketch-kit
Any sized sketch book you like - but with flat white paper, preferably ring bound so we can do double page spreads. Not textured watercolour paper though.
You won’t need any more than what’s in my kit above, so try not to bring the kitchen sink!!

What else to bring: Umbrella, water bottle, hat, sunscreen.
Optional: A folding stool if you wish.
A big smile.

SUBJECTS:
The program is flexible but will be based on Cafe sketching, Street sketching and People action
