’Next steps’ travel Sketching
WITH KIRSTEN
South coast NSW

You’ve completed Kirsten’s Intro classes and you’re wondering – now what? Well, it’s time to take your Next Steps!

Kirsten is offering a series of four classes that will take you to the next level in the wonderful world of travel sketching.   Each session revisits and builds on the foundation techniques and will be held weekly on Saturdays.
TIME. 9am to 12 noon.

‘Next Steps’ classes begin-
WHEN. Saturday, 10th of August.

WHERE. Classes will be held in Moruya.

COST. $300 for 4 classes

We will start in the studio, at a café, or perhaps around a park picnic table, and once we’ve completed some warm-up exercises and a bit of learning, we’ll head off to paint scenes around town.  We’ll get to know the people, landscapes, animals and buildings of our lovely town intimately, by observing and sketching them.

You need to have completed the Intro Course before you take your Next Steps.

DATES. Next Steps Workshop dates

Class 1: 10 August

Class 2: 17 August

Class 3: 24 August

Class 4: 31 August

Note:  August weather is unpredictable.  If it’s too wet, or too cold, we find numerous interesting things to sketch indoors.

‘What a lovely gentle way to spend the day. Thank you for the kind and non-judgmental way you shared your wisdom and skill’ - Pam

‘I never dreamed that enrolling in a Travel Sketching course would lead me to meet and befriend such beautiful, interesting and talented people’ – Dorothy

’Saturdays with Kirsten quickly became the highlight of my week.  Kirsten is a brilliant teacher and we all easily progressed in our sketching abilities with the "Erin Hill" style of travel sketching.  It was a fun and memorable time for us all’ – Anne

KIRSTEN PITOT

Tutor for Beginners (Intro) and OnGoing (Next Steps) Travel Sketching

Like all Erin’s tutors, I’ve drawn/sketched all my life and for me, sketching is a way
to understand what I’m looking at.
I’ve worked as an animator and have studied Fine Art, but when I did my first class with EHS,
I felt like I was SEEING for the first time.

When it comes to teaching others, I particularly enjoy helping each student to work through any challenges they feel they have. My speciality is teaching people who are hard-of-hearing, and I’m really excited to be offering Auslan Sketching classes to Deaf people in the future.  Looking forward to meeting you in one of my classes.
