Travel Sketching with Toni
 Architecture: Looking for shadows. Using black brush pen (Kuretake or Pentel waterproof brush pens) first mark in darks and shadows to accentuate contrast. Then add finer pen lines for line variations & interest. Location: Sydney Road, Manly, first floor buildings and gables. Cafe: Girdlers

Manly intro Saturday wk 6. Getting some perspective is always daunting the first time, but all the students took up the challenge and crushed it! Someone has written ‘The hardest class’ on their page. You’ve just achieved amazing things.

Sometimes we sketch and walk around a quaint French village and sketch vignettes. Maybe a door way or doorknob. It may be a window and curtain that catches our eye. Or even an old street stall or newspaper stand. Anything that appeals really. Get in touch if you’d like to book a Workshop
