Floods War & Sketching
This is a very sad time for millions of people. Closer to home we’ve had devastating floods. People have lost everything.
On the other side of the world people are losing the freedom, their lives and their homeland.
May the Sunflower sketch will bring a little ray of sunshine.
But for whatever we have, we must be thankful. It’s so very unsettling and very difficult to keep positive. But we must. We must look forward not back.
We will come through it. Scarred but still here.
Somehow to even talk about sketching seems peripheral. But the community we have, the people you will meet, the support you will get is one of the great healers of a broken spirit.
A few less classes this week due to flooding.
But despite everything we managed some fun moments. You’ll see ‘Gestural Figures’ and ‘One point Perspective’.
