We Sketch No Matter What.

One of the courtyard gardens at Tyalgum Village. NSW

I’m surprised that I’m feeling this positive!
Is that whenever I take a class or plan one, I’m fully engaged?
Is it students are checking that tours are definitely going ahead?
Is it that despite all the horrifying things going on, I realise I can still carry on with my life?

We can certainly lend a hand to others who need it, but I’m much more able to help if I’m feeling up rather than down.

There was a lot of sketching this week now that some of the flood damaged roads are passable again. We were at the absolutely adorable Tyalgum Village right at the base of Mt Warning with its beautiful rolling valleys at the base of the caldera.
It’s vignettes, headings and notes this week, and you couldn’t pick a better location, and truly we didn’t even scratch the surface!

We were also at Fingal Heads at the very rustic Sheoak Gallery and Cafe. Vignettes were again our subject and another ideal spot for this kind of journaling, with its fishing and seaside decor.

Mosman managed to beat the floods by heading to Manly Wharf to study people doing their thing and possibly even a local pub where there’s plenty of people activity.

We love to share our sketches to brighten your days.
