Our Australian socially distanced classes are having a ball.
We’re back together sketching outdoors, sharing thoughts, discovering ideas, enjoying the results is so rewarding. Weather permitting of course but we can do everything inside when needed.
The occasional coffee and cake or Bratwurst sausage bun is pretty fun too. French Madeleines were in Saturday’s class. Where are those sketches! Purely for reference of course. If you order something you must sketch it! Some of these coffee sketches even become greeting cards for friends.
Flat perspective was one of our subjects and a great way to get the character of a building or scene. No worrying angles to upset anyone.
Some worked on nature shapes, land and sea compositions, motorcycle forms and definitely getting braver with colour.
