Format:
We start at 10.00AM and finish at 2.00PM.
Meet at Gaye’s Balgowlah Home Studio for coffee and nibbles.
We start with some easy to follow sketch subjects guided by Gaye,
and follow on with our simple colour techniques.
1 - 6 people for each workshop

What to Bring:A5 Sketchbook. No3 Black Fineliner Pen. Staedtler Noris Club 12 set Watercolour Pencils

Gaye will provide watercolours for you.
Bring lunch to enjoy on the balcony, or pop up to Balgowlah (300m away) for great choice of food and coffee.

Gaye Pitt
Senior Tutor for all levels of Travel Sketching
Born in Manly and grew up in Balgowlah on the Northern Beaches. The family often holidayed Bundanoon riding at Throsby Park gave her horse riding skills.
Has always drawn and sketched in any available material and sculpted in clay from an early age .
Attended Alexander Mackie College and received BeEd. In Visual Art .
I draw wherever I go and whenever I can whether at home or traveling.
I love bold colours and My favourite artist is Matisse...
Gaye has been an important creative influence to many students in High Schools where she has guided boys to see the world through drawing.
As a tutor with Erin Hill Sketching, she has shown many adult students that they can indeed learn to sketch, once shown those all important observation skills.
Gaye tutors in The Southern Highlands where she teaches sketching from her home studio in Moss Vale.
She is very keen to meet you in her classes and take you on a brand new journey of discovery, of relaxation, of mindfulness, and the pleasure of doing something entirely for your own joy.
