Travel sketching is that quick sketch you’ll do in a moment.
It’s something we love to do when traveling or at home. So let me show you how.
You only need a very minimal sketch kit, and be keen to spread your wings.
The Sketch Tour series are extremely helpful and give you a head start if joining our actual tours.

All levels welcome whether new to Travel Sketching or experienced and keen to sketch in places you’ve never been to.
Perfectly suited to non sketchers too, as we have events for you while the sketchers are busy.

Learn to sketch what you see around you, even something quite ordinary, and make it a delightful sketch.
It will be in your own style as only you see it.
By taking the time to observe and sketch, it becomes something special, a memory, part of your sketch journey.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Sketch Kit you’ll need.
Any size sketchbook with flat white paper - not textured. 125gm is fine.
Black waterproof pen. (No lead pencil needed)
Small watercolour set and brush and water pot. You’ll see the colours I use but use the nearest you have.
Chinagraph wax pencil - to resist paint.
Aquarelle Watercolour Pencils and sharpener.
Waterbrush.
Posca Pen - white - size PC-1M ( bullet shaped nib 0.7mm)
