It’s so good being able to sketch together and know that we have no lockdowns at the moment.
If the only thing we have to watch out for is weather - well that’s ok.

In Bangalow we were sketching ‘Looking Down’ and then ‘Looking Up’. Not subjects you’d normally think to sketch but golly it sharpens your observation. We loved the results.

Kingscliff Friday was quite a funny day. Rain and builders jackhammering, so we took off to Sheoak Shack Cafe for our ‘Little Bit of Perspective’ class.
Now Sheoak is a very rustic place with nothing that actually lines up or has corners, which is pretty helpful when doing architecture and perspective.
However there in the corner was just the subject. The pink toilet block. We did have a laugh. Again not a subject we sketch often! But why not.
