Arrive in Collieure on Saturday May 31st. Depart Collieure Saturday June 7th

Non refundable but can be transferred to another of my tours within 12 months
ITINERARY- this may change but is what we’ll start with😀
Arrival Day One. Saturday. Free Day
Make your way to our suggested hotel - des Templiers. 12 Quai de l’Amiraute. 66190. Collioure.
Or you may prefer a choice of your own.
We’ll meet at 6.00pm for drinks and a chat about our week ahead.
Sketch Day Two: Sunday
After breakfast - we’ll do our first sketch and some foundation guidance at the hotel cafe. We’ll take a slow walk around some of the town and see the spots where the Fauvists and Impressionists painted from. We will do a sketch from some of those locations during the week.
Sketch Day Three: Monday
Coffee and sketch from Plage de Collioure. We’ll be looking at people in our sketches.
Sketch Day Four: Tuesday
Let’s go to Market!
There are permanent markets along the walkways so we’ll take a look at how to set up our composition and where we’re focussing.
Free Day Five: Wednesday
This day gives you a chance to relax and either shop and explore the town. There are some fabulous walks round the coast and up the higher hills. Sketch if you like or not. You may prefer to relax by the beach and observe the world going by/
Sketch Day Six: Thursday
Finding the spots where Matisse, Derain, Signac produced their wildly colourful images here in Collioure. I think we could let go and try something similar. Totally fun and our own version of what we’re seeing, Fauvist style.
Sketch Day Seven: Friday
The boat harbour was once filled with the gaff rigged colourful wood boats. Some are are still there so we’ll sketch there today.
Departure Day Eight: Saturday
Enjoy a lovely breakfast in the courtyard and wish all your new friends a fond farewell.
Arrange your transport back to the nearest airport, which may be Perpignan and onto your next adventures.
I know you’ll return.😀

HOW TO GET THERE
You may decide to drive if you have friends joining the group. You would park in the large public areas on the edge of town.
There’s an Airport at Perpignan and a taxi would be around €100 from there to Collioure.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
If you’re new to sketching you’ll need this sketch kit.
Sketch Kit - Available to order online if you’re in Australia, or get similar in UK, USA and France.
I’ve designed my custom sketch kit to be minimal and fit into your shoulder bag, ready at any moment.
It contains everything you need. Don't be tempted to bring more.
If you’re already a sketcher, bring your favourite sketch items.
Bring a folding stool if you like, a hat, sunglasses, sun lotion, money for incidentals, such as drinks and meals not included.
* Do get travel insurance - better safe than sorry.
* Come with a big happy smile and willingness to learn.
